How do I earn gems?

Your cottage passively earns gems over time. When gems are banked, tap the Collect button on the District screen to add them to your wallet. The bank holds up to 200 gems, then pauses — come back and collect to keep earning.

How do I upgrade my house?

Open the Upgrade tab and tap the "Upgrade for N gems" button. Each upgrade level changes your home's look and increases its gem income rate. There are 8 levels in total.

How do mini-games work?

Tap a mini-game chip on the District screen to play. Each game has a 45-second cooldown after you play it. Block Tap, Memory Match, and Color Rush each award between 15 and 120 gems depending on your result.

How do I place or remove decorations?

Open the Decorate tab, choose an item from the catalogue, then tap an empty slot on the grid to place it. To remove a placed item, long-press its slot — you'll receive 50% of its cost back.

The app doesn't need internet — is it safe?

Yes. TileNook is fully offline and stores all game data locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.

How do I reset my progress?

Open Preferences. At the bottom of the list you'll find three independent reset options: Clear decorations, Reset district level, and Erase all progress.
